Today we were visited by Pip from the Royal Society of Music, who treated us to a musical assembly. The children were shown instruments native to Africa, India and Asia. Those lucky enough to be selected, were able to play the various instruments during our assembly. Pip also spent the day with year 4, explaining the cultural significance of the different instruments and orchestrated the children into an impromptu band. We would like to thank Pip for visiting our academy today and providing our pupils with an educational and fun experience.
