On Friday, our academy hosted WOW Day! Our current theme for this term is "Amazing Adventures", so staff and students came dressed up according to their specific amazing adventure. WOW Day is an opportunity for the entire academy to celebrate learning together, in a fun, engaging and interactive way. On this day, our students are treated to various activities such as experiments, role plays and debates, as a way to truly bring alive and encapsulate their topic of study. We believe that practical and hands on experiences allow our students to make connections to their theoretical knowledge obtained in class, which in turn, enriches and deepens their understanding as whole. 

The various amazing adventure being undergone throughout our academy include:

“A land before time” - Reception, “Animals” - Year 1, “The Rainforest” - Year 2, “Ancient Egypt” - Year 3, “The Mayans” - Year 4, “Space” - Year 5 and “Ancient Greece” - Year 6.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of the staff and students that got invloved on this special day, which was an absolute success.
