On Thursday 19 March, select students from year 6, participated in the Haringey Rugby League Tournament, which is composed of year 6 students across all primary schools in Haringey. The tournament is split into two separate competitions; boys and girls. 

Rugby League is not a common sport in England, though our year 6 students have been learning the rules of the game, and practising in PE lessons this past term. We are therefore thrilled to announce that our year 6 boys placed second, only narrowly missing out on first place and our girls placed fourth. This is an absolutely incredible achievement! Spectators and organisers of the event commended our students on their sporting abilities and sportsmanship. We are so proud of our year 6 students, who represented our Academy admirably.
