Today, our academy hosted WOW Day! Our theme for this term has been ‘Time Travelling,' so staff and students came dressed up according to their specific period of time. 

WOW Day is an opportunity for the entire academy to celebrate learning together, in a fun, engaging and interactive way. On this day, our students are treated to various activities such as experiments, role plays and debates, as a way to truly bring alive and encapsulate their topic of study. 

We believe that practical and hands on experiences enable our students to make connections from their theoretical knowledge obtained in class, which in turn, enriches and deepens their collective understanding. 

The various periods of time being studied throughout our academy this term include:

“London Today” - Reception & Year 1, “Victorians” - Year 2, “Romans” - Year 3, “Tudors” - Year 4, “World War 2” - Year 5 and “Anglo-Saxons” - Year 6.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of the staff and students that got involved on this special day, which was an absolute success.
