Our academy received a £5000 donation from Lord Harris, to put towards the purchase of musical equipment. Our academy enjoys partaking in a musical curriculum. We are therefore thrilled that Lord Harris has donated £5000, which we will be using to purchase more steel pans. It is purely through the generosity of Lord Harris and the Harris Federation that specialist equipment, such as steel pans can be purchased for our school. We know how much enjoyment our students get from partaking in our extra curricular activities, especially steel pans. We look forward to hearing our school steel pan band (comprised of staff and students) play for us in the future, especially now that we have enough pans for an entire class.
