Reception Class visit London!
On Wednesday reception classes visited London for the day. They were incredibly excited and screamed with joy as their double-decker bus passed the London Eye and they saw the sheer enormity of the structure in comparison to the photographs they had been studying at school.
Sixty 5-year-olds were in awe and wonder at the sheer size and magnificence of our fabulous London buildings, from Big Ben to the Shard to Buckingham Palace. The children walked throughout the city, even meeting the guards on Horse Guards Parade. They enjoyed some other 'characters' as they explored South bank and engaged with its many entertainers. The teachers were incredibly proud of how sensible and responsible the children were. This was also noted by many passers-by who commented on both their behaviour and of course their smart uniform. Thank you to the parents who supported, it will no doubt be a trip will be remembered for very long time.
