Reception Pudsey Party
On Friday Reception parents turned out in strength to the Learning Journal Pudsey Party! With 83% attendance our parents proved their commitment to the partnership that we have here at HPACP.
Children dressed up as superheroes (paying £1, towards our fundraising for Children in NEED) whilst parents spent over an hour delightedly sharing their child's learning journal with each other. Parents were so proud of the work their child had completed, they wanted to keep the learning journals to take home! However, do not worry, they will be all yours at the end of the year!
Determined to raise the most money this year, Reception children hand-made their own Pudsey Bear for home-learning and then sold it to their parents who were enjoying afternoon tea and cakes, with their little heroes.
When asked if they enjoyed the event the event one parent said "It was a great opportunity and so fantastic to see the lovely work my child does".
Another parent asked "How do they get all this work in their learning journal?" In the early years this is a fundamental part of a child's development and learning.
