Transforming Lives: Science Award
Last Friday the academy was closed as three thousand Harris staff attended our annual conference. We learned that in the most recent
research, The Sutton Trust, which is an institute for Education Policy said
“At Primary, the Harris Federation is the highest performing school
group in England - the improvement Harris has made is equivalent to
pupils making around one and a half times more progress than average’.
We are part of the best chain of schools in the nation! During the celebrations, the Federation gave awards to academies that are
transforming the lives of children on a daly basis. We were delighted to receive an award: Transforming Lives through Science Collaborations. The work our science team do to engage children in complex science understanding, linked with University College London with the National Science Society is why we were were chosen. Therefore we thank our amazing team of scientists; Ms Bahai, Ms Shaikh and Ms Rabello who do a magnificent job transforming lives here at HPACP.
