An exciting playground!
Our huge playground development is up and running and the children are absolutely loving it! We had a number of new outdoor resources installed to enhance the physical and creative opportunities for our children outdoors.
For physical development, we installed two large log climbing frames which will help develop children’s overall strength, core stability, balance and fine motor skills. These challenges are open-ended which means they can be entered at any angle. There is also plenty of space underneath each climber for den-making and quiet reading. We also installed a Log Net Climber with Tunnel and two Climbing Walls to offer further physical challenges focused on upper body strength and fine motor skills improvement. For imaginative play, we added 3 Wigwams to inspire den-making and role play.
We worked with Pentagon Play on this exciting project and highly recommend them to other schools looking to develop their outdoor environment. You can view their website here – www.pentagonplay.co.uk
